The objectives of the Association are: the promotion and representation of the cruise industry on Bonaire in the broadest sense of the word, the common interests of its members in general and more in particular:

1. to guard a sustainable and high quality cruise tourism product; to advocate, educate and promote all cruise tourism related matters with all relevant stakeholders, in the broadest sense of the word;

 

2. to provide a liaison with the government of the Public Entity of Bonaire and a lobbying voice and guidance towards a sustainable and high quality cruise tourism product, in the broadest sense of the word;

 

3. to provide effective coordination of human- and financial resources to promote Bonaire as a cruise destination in a way that creates and contributes to a business climate that provides economic benefits for Bonaire, in the Broadest sense of the word;

 

4. to take action to ensure the sustainable development of the cruise tourism on Bonaire by representing the interests of its members through dialogues with different stakeholders and, if necessary, initiate legal proceedings, in the broadest sense of the word;

 

5. to promote the development of cruise ship tourism on Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba (the BES islands) and to organize activities, in the broadest sense of the word;

 

6. to promote the development of uniform rules of conduct and codes of honor among members and other interest groups, in the broadest sense of the word;

 

7. to make and maintain contacts and to cooperate in the cruise industry with similar organizations and/or legal entities established elsewhere, as well as with public and private organizations and interest groups with a common interest in the cruise industry, in the broadest sense of the word.
